    The mohair comes from our family's small farm in Georgia. We have a small heard of Navajo Angora goats. Our goats are able to free range on large open pastures along with supplemental hay and grain. Because we insist on having happy, free ranging goats, you will find vegetative matter in the raw fiber. The mohair has NOT been washed or combed at all. The lengths will vary but are typically around 3-4 inch locks. The mohair is sold in 1 ounce bundles. All of our grey Mohair comes from Duna, our reverse badger, Angora goat. All of our white Mohair comes from Doli, our white Angora goat. All of our tan Mohair comes from Casper, our tan Angora goat. Our farm and family take pride in our sustainable and humane practices.

    Great, awesome, affordable pricing and lots of selection


    This particular review is for Duna. This mohair is STUNNING. I just received it today and already ordered another ounce of Duna’s (gray) mohair. It is so incredibly soft, shiny, and very clean to the touch. The curls are loose like waves but very pretty. I will be using this for micro rooting silicone reborn dolls. The shiny grays and silvers are so beautiful. I initially ordered this mohair because it looked similar to Gotland sheep wool. It looks similar but is soft like angora mohair (sheep wool is soft but goats hair is a bit softer and finer). The locks are also fairly long and very easy to brush through with little fallout. I know this will dye beautifully. I forgot to mention packaging in the other review. It was packaged so nicely (as shown in the pictures) and I was given a lovely note. Beautiful, BEAUTIFUL mohair

    The seller is so kind. Because of a problem with Etsy, the seller was not notified of my order. They gave me additional mohair as an apology even though it was not their fault. These locks are beautiful. So smooth and shiny. It washes up so easily and quickly. There were minimal second cuts and it was very easy to separate individual locks and brush them. I plan to use this mohair for micro rooting silicone reborn dolls. The locks are easy to align. This particular review is for Casper and Doli. They were already a beautiful color but after washing it brightens so nicely. They are both fairly white rather than tan and white (as seen in the pictures). I do not like that Etsy only allows for one picture per review, so I put multiple pictures together in a video as stages the washing process. I definitely recommend this mohair.
